Field Notes:

The female is showier than the male. Is featured on the 5F stamp of the Ivory Coast. Some confusion exists as this is a different bird than a Rock Partridge. Male plays a major role in both incubation and rearing of the young. After calling to the chicks, food items are picked up and then dropped.
