Bird

Monotypic as it is the only member of its Family and is only one of two members of it Order. Its nasal cornes are a uniue feature not shared with any other bird. Builds a nest on the forest floor of sticks where both parents incubate a single egg. It is vulnerable to introduced predators and is threatened with extinction.
