Distribution and Range
Breeds from western United States to central Mexico. It is a short-distance migrant to southern Mexico down to Honduras.
Food
Primarily an insectivore that flies from a perch to catch prey on the ground or from undergrowth foliage or branches and trunks, hardly ever in midair.
